We used them to propel our standup paddle boards and for diving.
The battery on stage 1 cruise mode goes a long way!!!
2.5 km with the paddle board plus 45-60 minutes snorkeling and we still have more than 50% battery left

Very convenient. Works great. Would give 5 stars but retaining clip had to be shaved down to remove and price is expensive.
