The size is perfect. I was able to use it for two tank dive. The first at the Maui Molokini crater dive and the 2nd dive was at the Makena dive site. Both lasted about 40 minutes dive. I was able to get a ton of photo and not have to expend a ton of my valuable air. This scooter is perfect strapped to my left arm with the trigger. This allowed me to use my camera. I highly recommend this. Packs on to your carry on easily.
I give this scooter 5 stars but the instructions are lacking. Don’t make the mistake I did and return a perfectly operational device, because you think it is malfunctioning. No where in the instructions, or any of the requisite videos, does it tell you that when testing ‘out of water’ that after three seconds the scooter will automatically drop to slow speed. Once you submerge the device, the speed remains constant for the duration of the battery charge. It is one powerful little scuba scooter.
The kids love it! Its really fun especially on turbo mode which is the third setting. We bought two and connected them together. I took the scooters diving and did circles around the other divers. Im pleased. I took them as a carry on the airplane in my backpack. They got flagged and inspected but otherwise worked out well.
This is a dynamite gadget to have in your arsenal. I use it for snorkeling in Deerfield Beach. I never put it on full speed. I only leave it on middle speed or low. When snorkeling I use it to zoom over here or over there or to pull myself to the ocean floor for a good flyby. I snorkel for about an hour each day and the first charge lasted me 5 snorkeling trips with plenty extra. One day I tried to go snorkeling in extremely rough waters and I'm lucky I brought the Subnado with me because there's no way I would've made it back to shore without the Subnado. It has great accessories for using and holding the Subnado. I like the arm attachment which allows me to have a free hand for using the GoPro. I can easily get from one reef to the next without having to swim so hard. Just put it on cruise and enjoy the ride. I must've snorkeled a quarter mile stretch that would normally taken me two days to do. When I came back to shore I wasn't even tired. I actually drove up to Boca Raton and did some snorkeling there at Red Reef in the same day. It's not too noisy but you can def here it under the water. It doesn't seem to scare fish or turtles away. I highly recommend bringing it to the showers on the beach after each use and thoroughly clean it with fresh water, otherwise salt will build up in small spots and start to corrode your Subnado. This is a dynamite toy if you frequent the beach or do any diving or snorkeling. I've become so used to it, that now I can't live without it. I highly recommend the Subnado, you won't be disappointed.
Thank you - very nice
I looked at many scoooters before deciding on this one. I am VERY happy I chose it. I weigh 170 and it pulled me through water rapidly. As long as there is no opposing current. I learned for ultimate speed, best position is similar to swimming in streamline. Legs straight head tucked and you are a rocket. If your head is above water it will slow down a lot. Battery life was awesome. I used to go from shore out to boats and sunken wreck and back. It wasn’t running entire time but overall I would say at least a half hour run time in speed 2. For those that complain about battery life and other issues I say they did. It read manual or stickers on unit. It is VERY clear how to lock charger. It also says to grease the cap for the charger port from time to time. They even proved the grease so no excuse. Also they say do not let it sit uncharged for a long time. So I have to charge it every month or 2 until my next trip to keep batteries in tip top shape. I might get a second for faster speed. For all the parts it comes with it is the best value for this type of product
The Subnado Scooter is lightweight but has plenty of power. You can easily clip it to your BC and jump in the water with it. On speed setting 2, you can move through the water at a good speed. The battery will last for 20 minutes at this speed. There are 8 lights on the front of the scooter to indicate battery life. When the battery gets down to 2 lights, the scooter will revert to speed setting 1. This still moves you through the water. I ran it on 2 just to get the battery time. Using it on 1 will move through the water fast enough. The speed setting 3 is limited. You don't need to use the 3 setting. 2 will be sufficient to move you when you need a burst of speed.
AAA+
I got one of these it is great! Very powerful if you click it 3 times you do not have to swap out batteries. You plug it in directly in back of machine. Works for a long time I used it for 1 hour and still had juice. Very light weight.
I have the red and white yamaha sea scooter and love it. However this thing is a couple steps above. With 3 speeds and the quick charging capability with a 100w charger it is awesome. My 10 year old loves it and it's made of aluminum. Food for all ages.

I got two of those, a lot of power. Can’t wait to get the handle that couples them both to go even faster
I got mine a couple days ago and have only played around with it in the pool, but I have to say it has vastly exceeded my expectations both in power and quality relative to its price and size. Diving 160ft this weekend.
mine comes today, cant wait either.. I figure im gonna end up with 4 strapped to me like iron man
Just got mine yesterday and already tried it out in the pool. It’s absolutely awesome and easy to use. I can’t wait to take it to the ocean.
